Alouettes head coach Marc Trestman and several members of his staff got quite a scare on Monday morning as they drove to practice in Lachine.

Trestman, Mike Sinclair, Andy Bischoff and Rodney Sassi, who was driving, were in a van that was hit by a tanker truck on Highway 20 near the Lachine Soccerplexe.

Luckily, nobody was injured, but the van suffered heavy damage to the driver’s side and the Sûreté du Québec was called to the scene of the accident.

Trestman didn’t seem to frazzled by the incident when Herb Zurkowsky caught up with him. “Sassi did a good job of driving,” the coach said. “We’re all good.”

Creeps me out...just to think about the lost...
Either we heal as a team or we will die as individual
