NOuvelle approche de la D

Postby Trestman@Godsright » 30 Jun 2009 22:45

The big thing to watch for will be pressure packages. You can't play man coverage without pressure. No defender can cover for four or five seconds. No matter how good they are.

The Als will need more than four rushers to quicken that clock. My bet is Cox comes off the edge. Ferri, too. Proulx has to stay deep, though, with all the man coverage in front of him to avoid the big play.

Sounds bang on, the plan was for a more physical play on the receivers since they allow all kind of crap now inside the 10 yards.
Stamps were the expert of it.
You are correct jack, i hope they do the delayed pressure in the center, the OLB steps on the middle pulls back and cover the slant route then runs smack down the middle from the lane openned by the outside pressure from the d line, it was allways a fun play to watch.
