VANCOUVER —Tweeters were a-twitter with the opportunity to play 20 questions with a B.C. Lions celebritwit on Monday.
Head coach Wally Buono — screen name: Coach Brillo — reached out to his tweeple through the twitosphere with an eye toward increasing the visibility and accessibility of the Canadian Football League team.
Certainly, Buono isn’t the first professional coach to use micro-blogging to update his web audience on the social network Twitter.
Still, he is believed to be the first CFL head coach to tap into twitterphoria as an alternate communications tool, at the urging of public relations director Jamie Cartmell.
