Where is Jim Popp

Postby Trestman@Godsright » 23 Sep 2011 08:27

1/4 of the defense is on 9 weeks... team struggle and nothing seems to happen... where is Jim Popp???? Is it me but we have not heard about him all season long... Only one signing Mincheaux whatever... Please don't tell me the Al's are satisfied with our secondary...

:z: :z:

Is Popp lost his magic... couple of useless signings (luke Mullinder for Dallas Baker what was that)...Als are brused tired and beat up what do we have on our PR a big fat Nada...nothing to challenge Dix or Woldu.. when your emergency solution is Woldu/Dix dynamic duo don't expect to win a championship great guys but... these two allow more yards than what Richardson can gain in a game.
Sorry I am very disapointed this morning it feels like the team lost focus... is it time to fire a Coordinator? Release/trade but we need to do something to shake things up...7 game left still a lot of football we can turn this ship....
Either we heal as a team or we will die as individual

Perhaps a lack of cash. I agree though. Our secondary needs help in a big way. Thank the powers that be for Billy Parker, it's his secondary now. Maybe Popp is waiting to see the NI's step up to get an idea where we stand and possible signings.

Andersen will be back, add to it Williams doing a great job, we should be in better shape tonight, have to with one of the best receivers in the league with Stamps, the D-Line will have to step up big time.

Welcome to the SMS era of the CFL. I doubt very much that there is money left over to sign some free agents and I doubt you can find a DB at this time of the year and put him on a CFL field with a couple weeks of practice and have him make a positive impact. Remember the Don's starting two rookie db's for his last visit to the GC... That turned out well....

Popp is probably out looking at games in the US right now. That's really what he's paid the big bucks for.
