I saw this in Jack Todd's column in yesterday's Gazoo. If the club is doing this on purpose then it's something right out of the Harold Ballard playbook on how to treat your fans with contempt. Hopefully this is just a plumbing issue.


The Als are hot! No, not on the field. My spies of the female persuasion are trying to figure out why the tap water in the women's bathrooms is scalding hot. They believe the Alouettes want to make it impossible to refill a water bottle instead of buying one from concessions. A protest a few weeks ago brought a promise to look into it - but at Sunday's Als-Ticats game, the water was still scalding

Wouldn't it cost more to heat the water? And with it being a bit windy & cold at the stadium on Sunday, I don't think anyone wants to wash their hands with ice-cold water.

Like hfxtc says, Todd wears one big tin foil hat. Lamest ever, the cheerleader or anyone can bring a water bottle. And repairs would be done by McGill. Since maintenance staff iirc are on strike, it may take a while to be repaired.

Besides, the Als rent the stadium so it would be upto Mcgill to do it.
And as was said
It would cost more to heat the water, plus the plumbing costs to hook up the hot water.
