Halifax will not, their debt is too high, they had a chance with the commonwealth games and bailed out over the cost. Moncton were wise they built they did go for the world junior track and field games and got the Feds and province funding the stadium. So I doubt Halifax gas the will to ever do so, and that is after getting upset with Moncton taking away the AUS games away from Halifax and getting the CFL games, they still have waited until their stadium was almost imploding before doing anything. Moncton us the only one willing to try, forget Halifax.

In the Maritimes you've got companies like McCain and Irving, either of whom could easily own a team and get a stadium built but nothing ever happens. It's frustrating and I don't even live there.

C'est là qu'on voit que les Wetenhall ne pleuvent pas! Nous sommes privilégiés d'avoir à Montréal des propriétaires aussi passionnés, et nous devrions les en remiercier plus souvent.

Pour ma part, et je suis certain que c'est le cas pour vous tous aussi, je n'ai de cesse de faire la promotion des Alouettes dans mon entourage, de parler du football canadien et de notre équipe. L'intérêt se suscite plus facilement dans nos contacts étroits que par de grandes campagnes. Je réussis à gagner au moins deux adeptes par année. Ce n'est pas grand'chose, mais c'est toujours ça. Et je sais que mes adeptes font aussi des adeptes. Un jour, on remplira le Stade de nouveau!

Il demeure que pour l'instant, on doit s'attendre à ce que la rentabilité passe par l'augmentation du prix des billets.
