They seem to need some math lessons.

Twice yesterday I head a sports announcer say that the Bombers must lose both remaining games for the Als to have a chance at first place

This morning they said that the Bombers would have locked up first place with a win last night!

Uh NO!

Correct me if I am the one way out in left field but!

Before last night the Als and Bombers were tied with Wpg holding the tie breaker

If the Bombers won last night and the Als win Sunday they are still tied
That means if the Bomber lose next Saturday and the Als win, the Als would take 1st

The bombers lost last night so if the Als win Tomorow, they are alone in first
That means if the bombers lose on Saturday, the Als take first
If the bomber win on Saturday, and the Als win, the Als take first!

All this to say, the Bombers did not have to lose their final 2 games!

Am I right?
