When someone is really happy or excited about something.

When "CliffyD" got a shiny new bike for Christmas, he was stoked.

Merci XGamer tu m'a appris quelque chose!

No need to apologize...they are awesome. I gave my brother his jersey and you'd think I had just given him a million dollars!

Nice looking jerseys. I recently had a 70's vintage jersey customized with Dalla Riva's #74 but when I went to the store a couple of weeks back to pick it up, the name on the back read "DELLA RIVA". Needless to say, I told them to fix the typo. Other than that the jersey looks fabulous. I also got my old red Puma customized with Calvillo's #13. At least they got the spelling right on that one.

Did you know one of his Grey Cup rings had his name wrong?

I did not know that but all I can say is that his jersey is going to have the proper spelling.

Of course, I don't expect a guy in Seattle to know who Dalla Riva is but the cost of customizing the jersey was half of what it would cost me here in Canada. The good news is that they have a satisfaction guarantee. So I don't pay until they get it right.

i should probably call them today to see if it's ready yet.

Do they have the right fonts for the jersey? Or did you have to provide them a sample?

Well the two jerseys I had done were simple, one colour numbers. My Calvillo jersey is one of the old Puma's so I just got the one colour silver numbers that they used to wear instead of trying to find the triple-layered one's they use now with the blue and white trim around the edge (saves on the cost too)

The Dalla Riva one is a 70's vintage one so it too is pretty easy. Just plain white block numbers.

The shop I went to had all the fonts on computer and I just picked the right one. In my case it was simple because the Als just use normal block numerals. Now if I had an old Expos jersey with the curly numbers they used to have and the name bars that were arched instead of straight across, it might have been more of a challenge. But this place could still have probably done it. They do custom work for amateur teams so if you give them a design they can get it done no matter what the font.

I just told them to go with silver block numbers on the Calvillo jersey that they would use for an Oakland Raiders jersey. For the Dalla Riva I just told them to pretend it was a NY Giants or Indy Colts jersey; simple white block numerals. Once I have both jerseys I'll see about posting a pic here. But I did inspect the finished product and they both look great except for the typo. If you plan on coming to BC for the Grey Cup you'll see me wearing them.
