For Ottawa-Gatineau Alouettes fans: Meet Anthony Calvillo!

Postby cliffyd » 01 Mar 2011 15:50

Gonna research this a little more, but it looks like our legendary quarterback Anthony Calvillo will be at the Palais des Congrès de Gatineau to speak about his life on & off the field on April 15. And he's bringing the Grey Cup! He'll be greeting fans & signing autographs.

Now I found this on Kijiji, so I'll try to clarify this. But if it's a go, then get ready to meet a real champion on & off the field!

Kijiji? Really?

Who here thinks the Alouettes won't promote this in any way.

[sarcasm]Maybe they will classify it as a non-Alouettes function even thought our starting QB is there AND the Grey Cup.[/sarcasm]

With the Als this is as official as u will get Udually we get the official info when you read in the paper that he was there the previous day. Funny the Als told us officially that cup had to be back at the HOF feb 4th, Emry has the cup today for an event. They are so well organized.

Awesome! And I must do a mea culpa, u r correct AC never uses the Als PR he does his own and jealously keeps it separate.

He his indeed coming!

See web site for the event: calvillogatineau2011.com

Anthony Calvillo and the Grey Cup will be on site, he will speak for 45 min about Football and his life, including his Faith. It is not a 100% only football event and it is not a Church event.

He will be available to meet with people and sign autographs. The Grey Cup will also be on site for everyone to see, touch and have a picture taken with.

Although the Alouettes are aware, this is an Anthony Calvillo event...although after so many years together its hard to speak about one and not the other.

Everybody is welcome!

My tickets for the event are in the mail....looking forward to seeing my man AC. Even though I've met him a few times & he's always been a great guy to chat with, it'll be good to see him again!

If this had been on a Saturday night I would have been there in person. Oh well. Enjoy Cliffy!

Bought my Tix :)

5$ for a Calvillo conference, can't be wrong for that price, would have paid a lot more.

Now time to show up with our scarves ;)
