But at least he'll go out on his terms, and McPherson will actually get to throw the ball...actually, this is the way I'd like to see him retire....good for AC, and McPerson would have time to get comfortable in his new role as starter.....but yeah, still to early

This would be awesome! Great way to transition and AC really seems to be thinking about the good of the team which, considering the person he is, i know he's sincere. We could have a varied offensive package tailored to each quarterback and no quarterback controversy here because they would be working together for the good of the team. This could really work wonderfully only because of the type of person's AC and McPherson are. No EGO's at play here.
