At 38 bruised as he is I would expect that

he is usually pretty reliable.SectionU2 wrote: .... he under contract in 2011.

But if he is in the option year...he cant play for another CFL team...and there has been speculation on that as well

I'm in the minority when I say I wouldn't be very upset when BC retires, he's a phenomenal player and the AC/BC connection has been amazing but something tells me his heart wasn't in it as much in 2010 as it has been in the past.
Alouette future Hall of Famer Ben Cahoon vehemently denies published reports he has told some of his teammates he's retiring. Cahoon in a CJAD Exclusive from his home in Utah, says he has not told a single player, nor GM Jim Popp or Coach Trestman about any such plans to step away from Montreal.
But Cahoon admits his "interest is piqued" by a job opening at his alma mater BYU.
Brigham Young's outside receivers coach has just accepted a job at Purdue, which would create a potential dream job for Ben.
Both Cahoon's former Head Coach at BYU and his former teammate Chad Lewis (a retired NFL All-pro who won a Super Bowl with the Rams back in '99) have told CJAD 800 in recent months that Ben would be an ideal coach at his former college.
When told of Barron Miles' possible interest in returning to Montreal as a defensive backs coach should that job be offered, Cahoon immediately wise-cracked: "If Barron's coaching in Montreal I'd definitely come back to play one more year."
Miles and Cahoon broke into the CFL in 1998, under head coach Dave Ritchie, known to unforgiving with rookies.
