Any news on the MontreALS Huddle?

Postby West Coast Als Fan » 14 Sep 2011 04:32

Is there even going to be one this year? I know that there was some issue with the cheerleaders being able to raise the funds needed to travel for Grey Cup week. I'm just wondering if there will be any Als party in Vancouver this year. The one in 2005 was great and I'm hoping they haven't decided not to have it this year.

But as usual, there is no information on the team's website one way or the other. So have any of the season ticket holders here been told anything yet? I got a letter from the Grey Cup committee last week but they only outlined the official league events like the player awards and the generic party tent stuff.

If the Huddle is happening, post something here so I can buy tickets.

Thanks.

Nothing yet, even last year we only knew a few weeks before the event....

The MontreAls Huddle has always been a blast each time we were in the Grey Cup (at least the one i attended), lets hope so the tradition continues !

We just sent a Tweet to Als & 2011 Grey Cup festival, hoping for an answer from them.
Season ticket holder since 2004 !

Back-to-Back Grey Cups ('09 & '10) and I witnessed it LIVE from the stands !

Thanks. Let me know what they tell you (assuming they respond, of course) I've been to two of them. In 2005 I got to touch the Cup and met Jim Popp and Dickie Harris. In 2007 I hung out with Tony Proudfoot and Gord Judges.

Can't do that with NFL stars during Super Bowl week, unless you yourself are rich and connected.
