To me, player was a toss up between AC and Richardson.

I would not have complained if Whitaker was named either.

I would really like to see Chip Cox take the D award

I would have gone with Whitaker for a number of reasons; his success this year is simply remarkable, considering he was Avon Cobourne's understudy the past 2 years and Brandon has blown right by him stats-wise. Did anyone here expect him to be leading the league in rushing?? And that seems to be in spite of the pass-first offense that is this team's bread & butter.

I'm not taking away from any of his accomplishments this year, but I always expect AC to be great so the nomination seems a bit redundant to me. Jamel has had an outstanding year as well and deserves consideration as well.

So weird not to see Ben Cahoon as the Als' Top Canadian nomination. But Sean Whyte is very deserving of that and as Special Teams nom. Too bad Chad Owens has that one sewn up.

On Defense, I liked the Cox nom but would have gone with Anwar Stewart myself. He was expected to be phased out this season but instead had a banner year with his play and has done a great job mentoring guys like John Bowman.

Honestly, Jamel would have deserved it if he was on any other team but you can't deny AC's numbers and accomplishments. I think all this "talk" is all about bad timing. The nominations came right after two games when AC looked less than perfect as were his receivers. Hopefully he'll regain his poise and everyone will see that he deserves this award.

Au niveau offensif avec les tout ses exploits ca aurait été dur de mettre un autre que AC....Je croyais au chance je Jamel comme MVP sans oublier Whitaker...Cox bravo,Whyte qu elle trouvaille,quelqu un s ennuie de Damon?oui surment Sandro De Angelis loll...Bourke bravo aussi meme si je vois Luc Brodeur Jourdain bientot-la en nomination et qu elle perte celle de Bourke ouff
